About

Sara Thingvold

I started coaching as a sophomore in high school. Basketball, volleyball, tee ball, and softball were the sports I was asked to coach through our hometown community education department. It was incredibly rewarding to watch others have fun and enjoy working together as a team. It was then that I developed a passion for people, encouraging others, teaching, and coaching.

I attended the University of Nebraska— Lincoln. Competed as a Division I student-athlete, playing volleyball for the Cornhuskers. After college, I began working in the financial industry, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I missed the energy, sense of purpose, and meaning I gained from coaching. So, I pivoted and added athletic coaching back into my life.

My Philosophy
