Sara could relate to COVID in a similar way to her first year and a half deployment when her husband commanded the 2-147 AHB to Iraq. This time turned her life upside down and inside out. As she and her husband had uprooted from Stillwater and lived in Alexandria, MN, while hands-on renovating the thirty-seven acres, one of their adult children said, "Mom, do something!" What could she possibly do? She could write, post, and try to encourage others in a manner similar to what she had gone through to sustain resilience during their two deployments. The thirty daily mindset encouragements and posts on social media caught the attention of individuals on LinkedIn. They encouraged Sara to put them into a book, and she did. This is what gave birth to Daily Drives. People wanted to learn how to manage their thoughts and emotions, so Sara's journey to learn, help, and serve others continued.
Having tips and tools to help consciously manage our mindset and energy mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually is essential. Daily Drives—Living A Flourishing Life is written in a journal format. You are taken on a 12-day journey within five essential areas of your wellbeing: Career, Social, Financial, Physical, and Community Wellbeing that encourages, inspires, and renews hearts and mindsets.

The purpose of the Daily Drive Journal is threefold: 1) to provide a space to write 365 Daily Drives, 2) to cultivate a conscious relationship with your Holy Spirit, and 3) to encourage and increase self-reflection and self-regulation within your emotional, cognitive, physiological, and spiritual awareness. Altering your mindset helps you change unhealthy habits and live healthier lives, generating more energy with healthier relationships, becoming more productive, and flourishing within your mind, body, and spirit. 15 - 20 seconds to a healthier you and healthier world.
